How to Respond to a Navien Error Code

- Call a technician for any code that returns, or any combustion (E109/E110), overheating (E016/E030), or false-flame (E004) code.

A reset only clears the lockout — it does not repair the cause. If a flame rod is dirty, gas pressure is low, the heat exchanger is scaled, or a vent is partly blocked, the same code will reappear.
